Codeine Law Changes

So you might have heard about some of the pain relief changes that have occurred. If you haven't, some pain relief options, that have Codeine in them will now require a prescription. That includes options like the Panadeine Range, Nurofen Plus, Mersyndol and Aspalgin.

I just wanted to highlight what your alternatives are if you do need pain relief over the counter. A very good alternative is Maxigesic, as it contains both Paracetamol, and Nurofen. Nurofen and Panadol also work quite well for pain relief, and Aspirin is also another option.

Pain relief should not be something to be worried about, as there are always many options to help alleviate symptoms. Should these not be enough, then maybe a trip to the doctor may be warranted, but don't hesitate to have a chat to me about what your options may be, either through the website or by phone.
